M. Rabbah : Le Maroc dispose d'une stratégie ambitieuse pour le développement de ses infrastructures portuaires

Le Maroc a défini une nouvelle stratégie ambitieuse pour le développement de ses infrastructures portuaires à l'horizon 2030, dans le cadre de l'ambition du Royaume de consolider sa position en tant que plateforme logistique mondiale offrant accès aux marchés européens, d'une part, et africains, d'autre part, a affirmé, lors du Port Finance International en Février 2015, le ministre de l'Equipement, du Transport et de la Logistique, M. Aziz Rabbah.

 

Le Forum Port Finance International s'est tenu les 16 et 17 septembre 2015, à Casablanca. L'occasion de mesurer à quel point le Maroc tient à émerger sur la carte du commerce maritime mondial à Tanger Med, hub de transbordement régional pour l'Afrique. Le transbordement phagocyte cependant les échanges commerciaux de la communauté d'Afrique de l'Ouest.

Et de deux pour le Maroc ! Après avoir abrité l'édition 2014 de la conférence «Port Finance International», en septembre de l'année dernière, il a encore accueilli l'édition 2015 de ce rendez-vous annuel qui réunit les professionnels et les experts «afin d'explorer les ports de la région, les infrastructures de transport et de logistique et mettre l'accent sur la facilitation des échanges et la compétitivité logistique», selon les organisateurs.

Cap sur l'avenir

 

BUSINESS Casablanca abritera, le 15 et 16 septembre prochain une grande conférence internationale dédiée au secteur maritime. Cet événement jette l'ancre pour la première fois au Maroc. Le Royaume-Uni aura ainsi une opportunité inespérée pour mettre en avant sa stratégie maritime et sa réforme portuaire. Durant deux jours, cet événement réunira de hauts responsables marocains ainsi que des représentants de Marsa Maroc, de l'ANP, d'APM Terminals, de l'AMDI, en plus d'autres représentants d'entités publiques et privées, avec des représentants venus de différents pays.

 
 

Somalilandsun - Bolloré Africa Logistics today confirmed that it was in negotiations with the Somaliland authorities to develop a port in Berbera, on the Gulf of Aden.

 
 

Lors de cette rencontre, les deux parties ont discuté d'éventuelles actions de coopération ainsi que de la prochaine conférence Port Finance International programmée à Casablanca - Maroc, les 15 et 16 septembre 2014.
