Qatar contracts partners for $4 billion New Doha Port project

Qatar has made significant strides with its multi-billion dollar New Doha Port development with the signing of two contracts for the provision of project management and engineering design services to the project.

DP World expands into Algeria

Two Algerian ports have joined Dubai-based DP World's global network, and are set to enjoy an initial investment of US$108m over the next three to four years, as well as additional commitments from the Arabian company to further develop the ports.

Gujarat Pipavav Port to invest $50m in draft increase

Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited (GPPL) reports that it is to invest INR 260 crore (approximately $50 million) in a dredging project that will improve accessibility to the port, located in the State of Gujarat, 153 nautical miles northwest of Mumbai, by increasing draft to 14.5 metres.
