Krishnapatnam Port secures $790m funding

Krishnapatnam Port in India is to move ahead with the second phase of planned development at the deep water port after reaching agreement with a consortium of banks to provide the remaining financing required for the Rs 4,000 crore (approximately US$790 million) project, according to local reports.
DP World takes over at Port of Algiers

Tianjin Port Development Holdings Limited has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Tianjin Port Group to conditionally agree to acquire a 56.81 per cent stake in Tianjin Port Holdings Co., Ltd. at a cost of HK$10.96 billion (approximately US$1.4 billion).
