Qatar considers $2.5bn Croatian investment

Reports in Croatia have suggested that the Qatar government is considering plans to invest in the Port of Ploče, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva county of Croatia.

Port of Oakland to receive public and private funding

Port of Oakland is to receive approximately $32 million in federal funding for harbour projects as part of its Fiscal Year 2009 funding process, as well as a $150 million private investment from Ports America in a 50-year operations deal.

John Keells Holdings increases Sri Lankan stake

Port Bonython plans backed by WEDB

The Whyalla Economic Development Board (WEDB) in Australia has thrown its support behind a proposed development project at Port Bonython, despite the plans having already been rejected by city council.
