News - Twelve vie for Iskenderun

17/9/10: Twelve bids have now been placed with the Turkish Privatisation Administration Board for the right to operate the Port of Iskenderun, Reuters reports.
 

The newswire names 11 of the 12 bidders, viz Anadolu Girisim; Assan Panel; Celebi-Kolin; CEY Group; Gemport-Limar; IC Ictas; Kumport; Limak Investment Energy Production; PSA-Akfen; YDA Insaat-Alp Ates-Butros Deniz ve Nakliyat-Sabay Denizcilik; and Yildirim Holding.
 

The winning bidder will have the right to operate the Port for a period of 36 years.
